Cocoa Butter is high in natural fatty acids that hydrate and nourish skin. These fats form a protective barrier over skin to hold moisture in and keep harsh elements out. Cocoa butter also lends elasticity to scars, and penetrates to smooth dry skin and wrinkles.
Coconut Oil supports your skins own protective barrier, holding moisture inside and keeping skin soft and hydrated. Coconut oil reduces inflammation, and soothes winter-chafed, irritated skin. It's also naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and is even said to possess antiviral properties.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil is a gorgeous emollient with a velvety texture that resembles skins own sebum. It's safe for all skin types, absorbs easily and results in softer, plumper skin. It's rich in vitamin E, a natural antioxidant which helps protect the skin against sun damage and pollution.
It's unique composition that keeps it fresh for a very long time. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the Meadowfoam plant, native to Oregon, California and Western Canada. Its properties make it wonderful for both skin and hair.
Candelilla Wax is derived from the leaves of the small Candelilla shrub native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. It's a non-comedogenic plant wax that won't clog pores, and is safe to use on any skin type.
Rich in nutrients, it promotes skin cell regeneration, or turnover. Because of this, it's said to be beneficial for sun damaged and aging skin.
Essential Oil Blend: We can't make any claims here, but an essential oil blend of Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus), Rose Geranium (Pelargonium capitatum x radans), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus polybractea) Cedar-wood (Cedrus atlantica) & Patchouli (Pogostemon Cablin) is effective at making you smell a lot less tempting to flying pesks.
